“As with any juried exhibition, this show is defined by its broad diversity of media and subject matter. But, the degree of talent present in this exhibition is very commendable. While judging its contents, I experienced the rather pleasant balance of indecision and certainty; it is always a bit intimidating to curate an exhibition from a pool of strong work. Overall I was so impressed by the quality and quantity of works submitted. What you see in the gallery are my top selections from an array of strong pieces. I especially loved the mastery of media found in many of the works I selected for showing. Everything from paper collage to vibrant pastels were offered. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with these artworks and I hope the public takes advantage to feel the same.”
